I did not start my career thinking I would work on data or artificial intelligence. What initially interested me was a much simpler question: how technology can help people make better decisions.

Early in my career, I worked on innovation and digital transformation projects, where I saw many organizations investing heavily in data science and advanced analytics. Despite the sophistication of the models being developed, a recurring challenge quickly became clear: turning those models into real products that people could understand, trust, and actually use in their daily decisions.

That gap between data science and real-world adoption fascinated me. Over time, I moved closer to the intersection of product management, data science, and practical problem solving, working alongside data scientists, engineers, and business teams to design products powered by predictive models.

Building data products, however, is very different from building traditional software. Data is messy, models are uncertain, and predictions are rarely perfect. Yet many teams still try to apply classic product development frameworks without adapting them to the unique realities of data-driven systems. I started Data Science Product as a place to reflect on these challenges and share what I have learned while working on products that rely on data, machine learning, and experimentation.

This website is therefore a collection of lessons, frameworks, and observations about building products powered by data and AI. My goal is not to focus on theory, but rather to share practical insights on how teams can identify valuable data science use cases, design products around predictive systems, and ultimately create solutions that people genuinely adopt.

Today, much of my work is focused on a problem that matters deeply to me: improving road safety in cities. I am the co-founder of SafeMobility, a startup building predictive analytics tools that help cities identify high-risk locations and prevent collisions between people and vehicles before they happen.
